About The Role

We are seeking a leadership-driven and knowledgeable Dept Head of Talent Acquisition to join our client's organization. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, along with demonstrated experience in leading a department. The focus of the role is to manage the company's response to talent acquisition and staff turnover.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure regular reporting of relevant recruiting metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting program
• Manage leaders within the recruitment department, ensuring career progression and growth, holding quarterly reviews with recruiters and talent acquisition specialists and managers
• Providing strategic market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity, and competitive salaries package;
• Liaising between all departments to set and achieve hiring goals, strategize effectively, budget appropriately, and build a cohesive, strong team
• Develop and implement our recruitment strategy, talent brand, and overall recruiting process to enable the company to achieve its hiring goals
• Partnering with hiring managers and developing a sourcing strategy for each role and regular communication and updates to hiring managers
• Lead and execute full-cycle recruiting across all departments from sourcing to closing
• Assist with the implementation of the new software (applicant tracking system - ATS) for the talent acquisition department

Key Requirements

• Successfully run strategic recruiting projects that enable the team to hit their hiring goals
• Able to define TA metrics to measure achievements
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Experience in working with cross-functional team leadership
• Command of metrics including pipeline data, hiring forecast, and recruiting capacity
• Experience with HR Recruiting processes and programs
• High aptitude for coaching, mentoring, and developing talent supporting their goals
• Track record of success in finding, engaging, and hiring top talent
• Previous start-up experience
• Experience in managing stakeholders within and outside of HR that have an impact on the recruiting strategy
• 5+ years of experience recruiting, with at least 2 years leading a team
