Business Development Associate, Energy (Jakarta, Indonesia)

Our client is a leading renewable energy company that is headquartered in the Philippines and working across the Asia Pacific region. They are looking for a Business Development Associate to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia who will play a key role in analysing any related matter on commercial, investment, and financial partnership for the renewable energy projects.

What you will be doing:

• Supporting the team to draft the terms sheet with the existing partner.
• Working closely with offshore business development and development team, local development team and Indonesian partners.
• Preparing financial models for JV Platforms and Projects.
• As part of the business development team support them to prepare the deal structure with partners.
• Preparing the regular report to cover M&A, corporate action, and regulation updates on renewable energy-related industry.
• Visiting the site when necessary
• Preparing commercial, investment, and financial materials which related to JV Platforms and Projects which needed to make the decision making by Committee.
• Conducting initial due diligence for new potential partners.

What an outstanding candidate will look like:

• Open-minded and would like to learn any new related matters.
• Having a good understanding of investment and financing terms.
• Possess excellent skill in financial modelling.
• Minimum 4 years of working experience, with preference working experience from top 3 consulting firms, reputable investment banks, reputable private equity firms, and big-4 advisory firms.
• Proven exposure in investment deals with a preference for energy and infrastructure deals.
