• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of consumer preferences and retail dynamics.
• Champion continuous improvement in trade processes and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop trade marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Lead a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and ensure consistent execution of trade initiatives.
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive sales, distribution, and market penetration in the general trade sector.
• Monitor and manage trade spend budgets to optimize ROI.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Foster strong relationships with key trade partners, distributors, and retailers.
• Provide strategic insights to guide product assortment and inventory management.

The Successful Applicant

• Strong understanding of trade marketing, distribution channels, and retail dynamics.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Min 15 years of working experience in FMCG companies
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proven track record of success in leading general trade sales teams in the FMCG sector.
• Ability to analyze data and trends to inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Min 5 years in director position
