Key Account Specialist - Pet Health

Position Description:

Key Account Specialist (KAS) will be responsible for developing business to business relationships with Elanco direct accounts through implementing various selling processes in order to achieve sales target and be the number 1 value contributor to his/her direct accounts.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

• KAS to participate in sales force training I order to have sufficient animal health, disease and management knowledge and skill in order for them to add value when they engage their customers during the field visit.
• KAS to cultivate and develop close customer relationship and in deep market knowledge and market dynamics and share them timely with Marketing, Technical and Sr Head of PH and Aquaculture.
• KAS himself/herself to adhere to company policies and procedures when interacting and promoting products to customers, to protect the Elanco brand and business.
• KAS himself/herself to report adverse events and product complaints as per global and local regulatory requirements.
• KAS to partner with Technical and Marketing to ensure sales, marketing and technical programs are implemented in a speedy and quality manner in his/her key accounts. These include organize local meeting, seminars, seeding trials etc with direct or indirect customers
• KAS to proactively analyze and identify business opportunities / threats and seeks support from Sr head of PH and Aquaculture, Technical and Marketing to address them accordingly in a speedy and quality manner.
• KAS to understand and implement various selling process including Strategic Account Management, Consultative Selling including Pre-Call Planning, Targeting Effectiveness, etc. to meet or exceed the plan metrics-quantity and quality.
• Compliance with company rules and regulations including Ethics & Compliance and external laws and regulations.
• KAS to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the Key Accounts under his/her responsibility in order to achieve number 1 value contributor and sale target for these key customers.
• KAE to promote products to end user customers by understanding product, its promotion program, company SOP, territorial knowledge in detailing product and building communicative relationship to veterinarians, distributors, KOL etc

Requirements:

• Willing to travel around Indonesia, with 70% in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
• Min. 1-2 years of experience in Sales role in Pet Health industry.
• Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
