Job Description

Job Purpose/Overview:

Royal Canin's ambition is to be the health through nutrition company by creating a better world for pets. Aligned with our vision, we want to build a long-term strategic relationship with Key Customers to support their development and deployment of our category vision. The purpose of the PSR Key Account Manager is the coordination and support of the key account strategy of Royal Canin in PSR, by establishing, maintaining, and developing the customer relationship with the key accounts business. With the goal of increasing sales and expanding market share.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops multi-year plans, effectively builds relationships and orchestrates resources across customer organization to maximize mutual business opportunities.
  • Interprets customer data, builds insights and attains category leadership through the deployment of category vision, merchandising and projects such as perfect store.
  • Has a long-term vision and knowledge of his/her customers – is therefore able to forecast demand on a 12-month horizon and execute plans in a timely fashion.
  • Optimizes range, distribution, points of engagement in store, value and promotional metrics to continually add to customer value and ensure excellent execution in placed.
  • Lead the formation of Joint Business Planning and Trade Terms. Is able to see beyond separate accounts – acknowledge roles key accounts can play and see opportunities omni channel.
  • Builds strong internal network to receive support across inter-functional teams (marketing, supply, scientific communication, finance).


Job Specifications/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Having experience in a multinational or international company and/or FMCG experience is an advantage.
  • Effectively bi-lingual in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both spoken as written.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience – preferably in FMCG, Premium Category and/or related industry.
  • Experience in managing key accounts.
  • Capable in working with Microsoft Office Software, particularly Excel and data spreadsheets.
