General Manager Of Human Resources (Textile Manufacturing)

One of our clients (a textile manufacturer) is looking for a General Manager of Human Resources with the details below:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Develop and maintain effective HR policies, procedures, and systems that support the organization's objectives and ensure legal compliance.
• Manage and maintain positive relationships with labor unions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Lead and drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and promote employee satisfaction and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address organizational development and talent management needs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, providing guidance and support to management and employees.
• Oversee all HR functions, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives and business goals.
• Participate in strategic decision-making processes, contributing HR expertise and insights.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian.
• Knowledge of employment law and legal compliance, ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements.
• Experience working in a factory environment, with an understanding of the unique HR challenges in this setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse HR team.
• Proven experience in HR leadership roles within the textile industry, preferably as a General Manager or similar capacity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
• Solid experience in handling employee relations.
• In-depth understanding of Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor union dynamics, collective bargaining agreements, and labor laws.
• Strategic mindset and the ability to align HR strategies with overall business goals.
