Sr. Officer-Business Development Jobs

Business Development goal is to improve IOH’s financial results through the development of transformational business development projects, such as such as M&A, Joint Venture Corporate Wide Partnership, and New Business Initiation. Business Development is working through either leveraging the existing assets or proposing a new business opportunity by way of in-organic growth to improve IOH’s financial result. This role is responsible to manage Project with objective of ensuring it is delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality. The focus of this role is to assist respective VP and SVP in managing day-to-day Project, developing Business Case, and tracking deliverables based on approved project charter.

Project Management:

• Liaises with related internal functions to support the execution
• Assist on managing budget based on work-plan and control the utilization/realization of it
• Ensure a smooth approval process from all internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure internal cross-team coordination and communication to execute deliverables as per project charter
• Manage external advisors, ensure they deliver as per their scope of work and within the approved budgets and timelines
• Assist on managing projects end to end from project initiations, creation of a project team, management of internal stakeholders, until completion
• Monitor and evaluate task as per agreed timeline and ensure project operational running smoothly and provide recommendations to supervisor and implement actions.

Strategic Finance:

• Build business case that help guide the decision-making process for long-term strategic planning
• Market research to benchmark respective business case
• Tabulate shareholding on Joint Venture or other partnership model
• Collaborate with cross functional team to perform financial impact, capital market compliance, and internal governance compliance of respective projects

Requirements

• Good time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
• High self-motivation underscored by a passion for deep, fact-based analysis and converting recommendations into reality in a timely manner
• 5+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy/development, financing strategy, strategy management, strategic portfolio restructuring, or general management at telecom company, top-tier consulting firm, leading investment bank, major venture capital/private equity firm
• Ability to manage project across multiple areas
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Demonstrated ability to undertake and/ or commission and manage business development, portfolio restructuring & strategy execution.
• Expertise in end to end telecommunication value chain for business and consumer telecom operation with specific knowledge of Indonesian markets
• Ability to build and understand end to end financial models and business cases
• Able to work with minimal supervision and is a self-starter
• Demonstrated knowledge of business development, corporate strategy development, business intelligence, performance management
• Experience conducting complex business planning, company valuation, joint venture/M&A execution and financial analysis
