Sales Engineer, Surabaya Indonesia , Hybrid


What is the job about?


Responsible for providing technical support to customers in the Industrial Solutions sale channel (OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer and End Users) ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos products, and effective management of the sales life cycle through use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Responsible for sharing knowledge and opportunities outside of the designated sales channel to ensure sales and profitability across assigned area.


Your main responsibilities :


  • Realize the sales target within the assigned market!
  • Identification and development of new business with the potential to use Grundfos products and services.
  • Any other reasonable activities as requested, commensurate with the position.
  • Provide basic technical support to dealers, and end users ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos products.
  • Actively adhere to sales processes, including the management of the Customer Relationship Database (CRM)
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and presented within an acceptable time frame e.g., expenses.
  • Maintain and deliver Sales Excellence
  • Meet facetime targets to achieve desirable results.


Your background :


We imagine that you have:


  • Minimum Bachelor in business or engineering combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role.
  • Expert CRM and MS office, specifically Excel for analysing purposes.
  • Positive and resilient personality.
  • Frequent travel within the role is expected (mainly domestic travelling)
  • Good Business understanding.
  • Great ability to understand the digital offerings and to translate it to customer benefits.
  • Good communication skills - verbally as written.
  • Experience of working in a Key Account role.
  • Good networker across borders.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Good analytically skills.
  • Ability to think tactical.
  • Fluent in English is a requirement.
  • Good stakeholder management skills - across regions, borders and on all levels.
