The Sales Engineer will be the main window of communication to bridge between the company and also the Chinese players in Indonesia market. With the ultimate goal of closing sales, he/she will be at the front to develop and maintain commercial relationship while understanding the business landscape and technical needs for the customers' industry.

The client is a specialist in pump technologies and a strong player in the industrial market, covering all segments from general industry to heavy industry, including the Mining industry. With more than 50 years of experience accumulated to date, they have been able to be at the forefront of the market and maintain the best quality and performance to the market.
Description
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain relationship with existing accounts and develop business prospect with new accounts (focused on Chinese players in the market)
- Execute sales strategy and work hand in hand with distributors to sell products to key and prospective customers
- Meet sales target through constant sales activities, including calls, visits, and market intelligence
- Negotiate and close sales by agreeing terms and conditions
Profile
The successful candidate is a strong Mandarin communicator, most preferably with experience in Sales or Business Development. He/she is also someone independent and active in frequent travel in order to meet clients and read their needs that will be crucial for the business.
Nice-to-have:
- Technical education background, most preferably Engineering
- Technical sales experience targeting the Industrial sector such as rotating equipment, hydraulics, machinery, etc
