Sales Engineer (Aftermarket| Valves | Indonesia)

Our client is actively searching for a Sales Engineer (Indonesia) to join their team!

The Engineer will be jointly accountable for customer focus and technical solutions in both base Oil & Gas and additional growth in our client portfolio for the Oil & Gas and Downstream Industry in Vietnam. This position will be based in Indonesia.

This position is responsible for customer facing engagement providing technical support for the client products, solutions and services to our end-customer as well as their channel partners.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Preparation and submittal of excellent quality technical advice
• Communicate & finalize with customer to determine the product specification and scope of technical supply
• Customer Satisfaction & Technical Excellence
• Building up a closer bilateral relationship with customers / factories / other departments
• Prepare the deviations and clarifications sheets
• Operate and update tools such as Product sizing programs, SFDC etc
• Select the suitable product and proper accessories in accordance with the customers’ specification, codes and basic plant application understanding to generate sound technical advice

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• University degree in process control or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in a related field.
• Trustworthy, open & communicative individual, who is adaptable, stress-tolerant, and goal-oriented.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, as client-facing time is approximately 65~70%
• A strong, confident team player who can work with both internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic, with initiative and drive and a keen sense of urgency in solving problems.
