Our core product is Fashion Rental Subscription using a “Netflix-for-Fashion” model, the first and only of its kind in the region. Today, we are focused on building more products to improve Fashion Consumption and driving these solutions across the region.


Job Summary


People Service and Compliance Specialist is responsible to Responsible for managing employment relationships such as payroll/ benefit processing, people services center, internal communication, and HR compliance.


Responsibilities And Duties


Payroll Processing and Benefit Administration


  • Review and drive payroll reporting and ensure dashboard maintenance to outline health of the process.
  • Perform timely payroll and benefits administration and keep the process running without error or negative impact
  • Assist with the development and execution of communications to current and former employees regarding benefits programs, procedures, and government-requirements/ labor law. (example: BPJS)
  • Support the administration of medical plans through monitoring enrollments and claims, processing third-party administrator payments, and advocate claims issues.


People Services Center


  • Provide personal support to employees needing assistance (example: lettering, outpatient reimbursement)
  • Leverage technical abilities to automate tasks
  • Act as point of contact for vendors, including the coordination and transfer of data to external party (example: vendors, providers, auditors, and consultants)
  • Respond to employee inquiries, identifying employee needs, processing necessary transactions and escalating issues as required, especially in area of benefits, people processes, policy, and issues
  • Maintain a commitment to our service level agreements (SLAs) around responsiveness and customer satisfaction.


Employee Relations and Communication


  • Act as People Operations team’s point of communication to employees
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees
  • Maintain employment policies, ensure legal compliance, manage employment cases, deal with employee relations issues both white and blue collar employees, such as annual leave and work hours.
  • Provide a supportive working environment, health, and safety standard in office
  • Initiate engagement and recognition activities, to improve employee happiness and engagement


Employment Compliance and Data Management


  • Manage offboarding requirements and update employee data due to resignation and termination
  • Collect candidate’s pre-employment requirements depending on the policy and other legal administration, such as contract and tax ID.
  • Manage and update employee data due to hiring, internal movement, termination, and resignation
  • Monitor changes in labor law and adapt internal processes based on it
  • Manage employment contracts, including the extension of employment offers within company procedure and labor law
  • Complete regular data quality reviews
  • Fulfill employee’s logistical work needs based on the policy and other legal administration, such as work permit/ immigration requirements and BPJS registration (applicable in Indonesia).

Office and Facilities Management


  • Provision of cost-effective office infrastructure services, including space, stationery, nutrition, expat logistics support
  • Reduction of defects and stock-out


Qualifications And Skills


  • Experience in start-up, e-commerce, technology, or similar environment
  • Communication skills, ability to see details, and ability to handle sensitive matters
  • Excel skills including the ability to create pivot reports, Vlookups, and charts/graphs partnered with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Min. 1 year of experience in payroll processing
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Understanding in Singapore and Indonesia labor requirement/ law is a big plus
  • Understanding of payroll and other compulsory processing (BPJS, tax, etc)
  • Min. Bachelor degree (S1)
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action
