Overview People Specialist is a professional who is responsible for managing the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees. They are also responsible for managing employee relations, employee engagement, and performance management. They ensure that the organization is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations related to employment. Detailed Job Description People Specialists are responsible for the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of new employees. They are responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, conducting job interviews, and making hiring decisions. They are also responsible for managing employee relations, employee engagement, and performance management. They ensure that the organization is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations related to employment. They also provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a variety of topics, such as employee benefits, compensation, and labor relations. Job Skills Required• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of HR software
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
