Mobile Market Business Development Manager

: A Chinese technology company is seeking a skilled Mobile Market Business Development Manager to join our team. Our office is located in Islamabad but we are open to candidates that can work remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on the mobile market in their country and identifying resources for second-hand mobile phones, including OEM and ODM factories. The candidate should have experience in mobile market research, data collection and analysis, and have knowledge of the second-hand mobile phone market.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Previous experience with OEM or ODM factories for second-hand mobile phones ● Have strong knowledge of FOTA and OTA ● Have an understanding of the mobile market in their country, e.g. mobile phone usage, and popular mobile phone brands, types of phones etc. ● Understand the second-hand mobile phone market in their country; the volume of phones which are available for reinstallation and the form of ROM flashing used ● Compile research findings and present insights and recommendations to the team. ● Monitor and analyze market trends, including changes in consumer behavior and preferences, competitor activities, and regulatory developments related to the mobile phone market. ● Conduct surveys and focus groups to gather qualitative data on consumer opinions and perceptions of mobile phones and related products. ● Attend industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the mobile phone market. ● Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights on consumer needs and preferences for new mobile phone products. ● Work with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and campaigns based on market research insights. ● Provide training and guidance to other team members on market research techniques and tools. ● Collaborate with external research partners or agencies as needed to supplement in-house market research efforts.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

● Proven experience in mobile market research and data collection and analysis.

● Knowledge of the second-hand mobile phone market.

● Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.

● Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

● Fluent in both written and spoken English. Work Arrangement:

● Monday - Friday : 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Flexible) Compensation and Benefits

● Salary range between $500－$850 USD depending on experience

● Specific expertise and experience within the OEM and ODM space and the second hand mobile market is preferred
