Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading projects related to business development initiatives within the electric vehicle (EV) industry. They will work closely with cross-internal functional teams as well as the external partnership/stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and execute business opportunities that align with the company's goals and objectives in the EV market

Responsibilities


  • Conduct regular reviews of business development projects in the EV industry to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the EV industry, including customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Work closely with marketing team to align business development initiatives in the EV industry with sales and marketing strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of business development initiatives, ensuring all project deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the EV industry to identify new business opportunities.
  • Create and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Communicate project progress and results to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential business opportunities in the EV industry through market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Make sure partner OEMs, vendors, and internal R&D teams are on-time with the project timeline
  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to grow revenue and market share in the EV market.
  • Build strong relationships with OEM partners and its production & supply chain team


Qualifications


  • 5+ work experience in the two-wheeler manufacturing department
  • Familiar with battery swapping and charging technologies as well as trends in electric vehicle industry is a plus
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to ride two-wheeler and have a valid license (SIM C)
