What will you be doing?

As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to help shape our aggressive growth ambitions across Asia. This high-profile position is pivotal to Argus' global success. You will be self-driven and able to work in a dynamic environment, with an ability to communicate and present at all levels of the business.

• Build strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders to increase the likelihood of Argus price usage in the markets.
• Represent Argus at industry conferences and business gatherings to promote awareness and usage of our services.
• Be the key face of Argus in Indonesia, promoting the usage of Argus to clients, the governments, industry bodies etc.
• Work with subject matter experts and editors to develop price methodologies and market reports that meet the needs of clients and prospects.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase usage of Argus benchmarks in crude, LPG, biofuels, coal, LNG, chemicals and agriculture in Indonesia.

What we’re looking for in you

• Hands-on: Demonstrable experience having worked in a high-energy, fast-growth environment
• Strong commercial awareness
• Strong personal credibility and communication skills, accomplished in individual, group, business and social settings
• Experience promoting price indexation, business intelligence or market analytics services in commodities markets would be beneficial.
• Strong academic record, with a degree from a respected university
• Be able to balance an imaginative and highly creative approach while simultaneously demonstrating the pragmatism needed to work and get things done in a high-growth environment.
• Credibility: the ability to inspire trust and respect with key market stakeholders, including clients
• Intellectual Dexterity: the ability to analyse complex problems and pick up new concepts and strategies quickly
• Bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required to cover the local market

Travel
