Technical Program Manager (Indonesia)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with good communication style, to lead assigned customer projects, ensuring that the right solution is designed and at the same time , project goals are met, customer’s expectations are fulfilled and that the customer relation is handled in the best possible way within the scope of the contract.

You need a strong technical background, are detail-driven, and have excellent problem-solving skills. You are self-motivated, a constant learner, and always curious about how things work. You are constantly trying to improve processes, solutions, and yourself. You learn from your mistakes, and you love working with really smart people. You need a solid understanding of project management fundamentals (e.g. business case, RTG, risk management, schedule, and negotiation). You are comfortable briefing Sr. leadership, even when you have bad news; you can communicate effectively with business and technical teams both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-sales meetings and contract preparation, help identify change request opportunities.
• Support governance activities, ensuring concerns are captured and actions are taken to remedy such.
• Drive project execution; track delivery, expect change, own change management, pro-actively seek and resolve blockers flagged to you.
• Jack of all trades, able to conclude the solution design and manage the project at the same time.
• Create and maintain project documentation pack, from the project plan to solution documents.
• Work with the latest collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Trello, Work@FB .. etc
• Be part of a Global TPM Team, share experiences and develop the PM discipline: simplify processes, methods and tools with creative ideas
• Manage UAT and Production releases, and project handover to our Support and Operational teams
• Conclude solution design and architecture both internally, with the LotusFlare engineering team, and externally with customer technical teams, making sure best practices are followed and optimal solutions are selected.
• Work with project stakeholders to break down project deliverables across several delivery teams, secure the necessary resources and plan realistic delivery dates by driving out inter-team dependencies and managing risks; even when delivering in Agile increments.
• Establish the project plan baseline by defining the project scope, secure the necessary resources, plan and monitor all activities.

Requirements

• Digital Savvy who loves to know the latest about digital technologies and trends, love to experiment and open to integrating new digital technologies in everyday work.
• A solid foundation in service-oriented and digital technologies to be able to understand service inter-dependencies and drive technical solutions for multi-tiered systems
• Experience working independently to design, plan, and execute technical projects; able to distill data and articulate the rationale for making difficult trade-offs
• Experienced in delivering products against a plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment
• 5+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery as a software engineer or a solution architect
• Demonstrated understanding of systems within program space to include limitations, scaling, boundary conditions, and architectural decision-making process
• Comfort and experience with cross-organizational communication; excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of experience working with the telecommunications industry
• Demonstrated deep knowledge of technical program management and engineering best practices
• 5+ experience in Project Management, Technical Program Management, or similar technical leadership role
• Telecommunication architecture experience; across IT and Core (OCS/PS/CS) domains to manage and design solutions at scale
