We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Associate Intern to join our team. As a Business Associate Intern, you will play a vital role in fostering strategic partnerships, securing sponsorships, managing memberships, coordinating projects, organizing events, and expanding our listing capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to gain hands-on experience in the business development and marketing field.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with organizations that align with our company's mission and values. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, negotiate partnership agreements, and explore collaboration opportunities.

Sponsorship Acquisition: Research and identify potential sponsors for our initiatives and events. Create compelling sponsorship proposals, pitch to potential sponsors, and negotiate sponsorship agreements. Ensure fulfillment of sponsorship commitments and maintain sponsor relationships.

Membership Management: Manage our membership program, including acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. Develop innovative ways to attract new members and enhance member benefits. Communicate with members regularly, address their inquiries, and identify opportunities to provide additional value.

Project Coordination: Assist in managing and coordinating various projects within the organization. Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and report project status to the management team.

Event Organization: Take an active role in planning and executing events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and networking events. Coordinate logistics, manage vendor relationships, develop event marketing materials, and oversee on-site event operations.

Listing Expansion: Work towards expanding our listings and directory database. Identify potential listings partners, negotiate agreements, and manage the listing process. Continuously update and enhance our listings to provide accurate and relevant information to our users.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or recent graduate)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Exceptional organizational and project management abilities

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus

Knowledge of business development principles and practices is desirable
