Business Development Specialist (Retail Category)

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

What you will do

• Keep track of competitors’ product developments and marketing strategies, as well as identifying purchase patterns and emerging trends
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that products meet customer needs
• Establish and maintain relationships with existing or potential business partners.
• Visiting stores and initiating the implementation of retail standards in stores
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue for the retail/modern trade sector
• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales with Sales Department
• Initiate retail business development strategies and drive successful execution to achieve results
• Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to determine the feasibility of business opportunities.
• Bringing creativity, strategy and influence to our merchandising
• Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

What you need

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
2. At least >2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the Retail/Modern trade sector.
3. Strong communication and negotiation skill
4. Ability to analyze market data and identify trends and opportunities
5. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales target
6. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with client
7. Strong organizational and project management skill
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
10. Knowledge of the retail/modern trade industry, including key players and trends
11. Willing to Work From Office-setting in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta Utara
