Background:
Algoritma is founded with the purpose of making data science accessible to everybody. We organize programming workshops and data science bootcamps that adopt a learn-by-building approach suited to beginners and non-programmers.
Algoritma is looking for Corporate Development (B2B Sales) based in Jakarta. This position will be reporting to the Corporate Development Lead and Head of Business Development.
s:
Ecosystem Outreach (25%)
- Building relationships and partnerships with corporates, startups, university and other strategic partners.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers within the target organization and understanding deeply the corporate’s needs and objectives.
- Presenting the benefits and features of the company's products or services to potential customers, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain relationships with corporate PICs Building local and regional databases of corporates who have interests in data science and building a team.
- Organizing corporate interview sessions and preparation of students.
- Research on the current data utilization trend of the target corporation.
- Together with the Program Manager, coordinate the scheduling of corporate orientation meetings and consultative visits.
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms with customers, and closing deals. – Ensure that contracts are signed and billed.
- Identifying and reaching out to potential customers through various channels, such as cold-calling, email, and networking events.
- Sell corporate packages according to their needs.
- Corporate Outreach, Relationship Management, and Sales (50%)
Project Management (15%)
- Prioritize projects and issues to ensure critical items are identified and worked as a priority to meet deliverables
- Tracking and reporting on sales performance metrics and using data to inform sales strategies.
- Plan, organize and execute projects, and coordinate cross-functional resources when needed to get projects done.
Internal Collaboration (10%)
- Partner with Operations and Marketing departments to develop and create successful programs in partnership, mentorship, and events.
- Plan and execute Algoritma activities across Indonesia together with the Marketing and Operations team.
- Collaborating with other teams within the company, such as marketing, project management, product, finance and operations, to ensure a smooth sales process and positive customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven working experience in B2B Sales field & selling Corporate Training.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, or any related fields.
- Familiarity with CRM tools would be a plus
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing demonstrated sales success
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
- Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, data science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, presentation skill, negotiation skill as well as a deep understanding of the company's products and the industry in which it operates.
- Initiative and attention to detail.
- Proactive, flexible, and be willing to take on any project and deliver on time, large or small - including setting up for events and cleaning as needed.
- High integrity, strong in multitasking, good problem solving (critical, strategic and evaluative thinking), time management, and able to work independently or within a team.
