Job Purpose
Category and Channel Development Manager is key role to accelerate quality growth who will responsible for developing and leading the execution of category leadership for key customers; Translate category vision, knowledge of products - consumers - and shoppers Into business opportunities in line with channel roles and strategies to maximize business growth and ROI; leading the development of picture of success of perfect store and partnering with channel heads, operation and RTM in terms of execution.
- Develop in-store strategies and tactics that motivate customers positively (both short and long term) and shoppers to buy, for each channel
- Perfect store market lead
- Bringing the education of pet nutrition in an emerging market environment to grow the importance of this Category in the minds of Customers in collaboration with Brand , Category, Customer Marketing, and Sales Teams
- D&E budget management
- Engage 3rd party agencies for permanent display or visibility and asset management
Job Responsibilities
Category Leadership
Lead the development of customized of full category leadership plan & selling storiesfor key customers
- Category scorecard
- Category definition
- Category Tactics(assortment, price, merchandising / planogram, and promotion)
- Category role
- Category strategies
- Strategic alignment
- Category assessment
- Implementation, documentation& review
Co-lead the implementation of agreed category scorecard with sales team
Lead the review or evaluation of executed category plan and also developing corrective category action plan for key customers
Channel Development
- Planogram o Primary and secondary display type and location o
- Provides merchandising strategy and solutions that optimizes company objectives and ROI by considering category, customer, and shopper for all channels, including (but not limited to) :
- Visibility or communication development for 10 - 5 - 1 touch points based on shopper's journey •
- Assortment guideline or Must Have SKUs o
Manage, maximize ROI and monitor actualization of D&E (display and equipment) budget
Manage 3rd party vendor for permanent visibility and display solution, and asset management Manage and improve efficiency of display and equipment budget
Be channel expert and support Customer Marketing in making Launch / relaunch and activation plan
Lead Click & Mortar channel development
Perfect Store Lead
- Accountable and support perfect store operation and implementation processes
- Perfect Store score and scope monitoring and review and develop corrective action plan to improve score and scope to meet the target
- Developing, review, and improve of Picture of Success of Perfect Store
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum bachelor degree
- 2 years sales experience
- Shopper knowledge (path to purchase, shopping mission, etc)
- Category acumen
- Understand of Indonesia channel landscape
- Experienced using Spaceman software
- Sales operation knowledge
- 5 years FMCG experience from multinational FMCG company
- Experienced in category management and/or channel development for 2-3 years
- Experienced in leading Perfect Store program and / or category management in MT customers
- Display 3rd party management
