Hiring for a client, one of the leading suppliers in food and nonfood consumer goods imported from across the world acting in many countries

-Overall purpose of the role

Sales development director is responsible for setting up sales in a new country. He will get all support from global teams: product information and prices from procurement teams, transport costs calculation from supply chain team, Sales & marketing director and other countries’ sales teams support and his task is to find ways to market, customers, coordinate all the global teamwork needed to fulfill his targets and start sales.

Key Result Areas (Key Accountabilities):

1. Define ways to market / channels to start sales in related country
2. Create a customer base
3. Manage price lists creating process (with global teams help)
4. Arrange all the processes needed for sales (contracts, getting certificates needed / participating in customs clearance arrangement etc)
5. Sales, sales, sales

Key Requirements (Knowledge Skills & Experience):

1. Top-level consumer goods sales experience and skills

2. Excellent consumer goods market knowledge in related country, good contacts in distributor / retail business

3. Fresh fruit and vegetable sales experience and market knowledge preferrable

4. Excellent managerial skills and ability to lead complicated projects

5. Entrepreneurial profile

6. English-speaking

1. This position will be handling a team of 0-1 members at the start.
2. This position will handle as many clients as possible from 1 country
3. Travel requisite: to be discussed
4. Work Remotely: yes, no office planned at the start
