Job Description
Key Responsibility


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the bank, such as underwriting, risk management, and customer service, to ensure a seamless service experience for institutional clients.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at institutional client organizations. This will often involve frequent communication and meetings to understand the client's evolving needs and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
  • Developing and managing relationships with institutional clients, including corporations, banking, governments, and non-profit organizations.
  • Sales Strategy: Design and implement an effective sales strategy for the institutional market segment. This will typically involve setting sales targets, developing pricing strategies, and overseeing the sales process to ensure that targets are met.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to design insurance products that meet the specific needs of institutional clients. This could involve providing feedback on existing products or suggesting new product ideas based on the needs of clients.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to increase market share in the institutional sales segment for general insurance. This will include identifying potential institutional clients, understanding their risk management and insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Regularly analyze the general insurance market, including competitors' offerings, to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. This could involve conducting research, attending industry events, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive insurance solutions that meet the specific needs of these clients.
  • As an individual contributor, you are responsible for your own tasks and projects, but you will still want to maintain open communication with coworkers, managers and members of other departments. Lead and manage the institutional sales, including setting performance objectives, providing regular feedback, and development opportunities.


Required Skills And Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of general insurance products and regulations.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Proven experience in institutional sales within the general insurance industry min 7-10 years.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
