About the job Country Sales Head - Indonesia / Nepal / Bangladesh


Our client is a MNC automotive company with global presence and they are looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of Country Sales Head - Indonesia/ Nepal/Bangladesh. The position will be based in Indonesia. This role is an exciting role and they are looking for candidates who are passionate in automotive and has strong drive to be part of a pioneer team in Indonesia and help our client to expand its existing automotive business network in these countries.


Primary focus of this role is to achieve Volume targets (Retail & Wholesale) for the territory along with profitable growth and achieve Customer Experience & Process Targets.


Job Responsibilities Includes But Not Limited To


  • Establish a regular engagement with the Importers Business Partner and their Employee and provide relevant training where needed to ensure their employee are competent in delivering the performance results and address gaps where appropriate.
  • Work closely with Product Manager to ensure existing /new Vehicle pricing are align to market condition and within local regulation and guidelines compliance.
  • Management of Sales Funnel review & corrective actions.
  • Responsible for putting vehicle related marketing/digital concepts and promotion activities/measures into action in consultation with marketing department for each market including assisting the markets in the formation, planning and implementation of promotional, direct marketing and general marketing activities. Ensures that the importers/distributors have sufficient marketing materials and are displaying and utilizing them to best effect.
  • Responsible for Sales Order management for each market, ensuring ordering accuracy of variants and brands , including providing accurate sales order forecast and actual on a monthly ,quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Support Sales Planning/ Product/ Finance/ Brand/ Network teams with market feedback.
  • Develop and implement Sales strategies that will enhance the position of the company in each market in volume, share and image terms.
  • Participate regularly in country or regional meetings, regular update of the Importer MIS & reporting to Management Team.
  • Recommends tactical support measures required to support the markets in achievement of their sales objectives including drive Sales Promotion programs (Incentives/ Offers).
  • Establish New Business lines for sustained growth (Leasing/ Fleet/ Pre-Owned vehicle sales).
  • Responsible for all aspects of market performance by driving the Importer/ Distributor/ Dealer Carflow Month/ Quarter/ Annual vol. tgts
  • Responsible for Stock Management in each market and working closely with sales operation planning team to ensure stock planning are accurate and availablie for the network.


Job Requirements


  • Result Oriented & customer focussed.
  • Articulate, Agile with prove track record in Auto sector.
  • Familiar with the automotive market in Indonesia and other ASEAN countries will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a sales leadership role.
  • A degree in Business or Management or equivalent.
  • Primarily Sales experience, addl. roles in Sales Planning/ Mktg would be an advantage
