Job Description

One of our client (government sector) is looking for Business Development Officer for temporary contract based for 3 months.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of office systemsand business planning
  • Undertake industry and market analysis by means of research to identifypotential value addition, trade and investment opportunities
  • Assist and coordinate inbound official visits, trade mission programs andmajor business seminars/exhibitions
  • Identify trade and Investment opportunities in Indonesia and provide support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships and networks with Governmentofficials and business communities
  • Assist Business Development Manager
  • Participates in promoting the State and the State’s priority sectors tostakeholders.
  • Contribute to the delivery of international opportunities through researchingand identifying trade and investment opportunities.
  • Research significant developments in the economic and businessenvironment that impacts on business interests andprepare briefs and supporting documents.
  • Respond to requests for information from businesses and the Department.


Qualifications

  • Takes responsibility for actions and decisions and delivers work ata high standard.
  • Stakeholders, including government and industry
  • Undertakes research and analysis of information to meet clientneeds and identifies new opportunities for business development.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative and cooperativerelationships with a broad range of internal and external
  • Writes fluently in a range of styles and formats.
  • Prepares and presents messages clearly and confidently andadjusts to the audience.


Job Requirements

Essential

  • Ability to build relationships with key industry and businessstakeholders, government and networks.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (verbal and written)
  • Experience in business development or international trade andmarket development in Indonesia and/or the ASEAN region.
  • Experience conducting research and analysis across political,commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Experience in planning, developing and delivering business and/or ministerial missions, visits or similar events
