About the Area Sales Manager Global Education (based in Surabaya) Role:

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, you will play a key role as the most senior sales employee in the area (Surabaya, Bali, Yogyakarta, and Bandung).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong business leadership and a performance driven culture with the office based teams
• Support the IELTS candidate registrations across offices
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Achieve the short-term goals in assigned offices for student placement and execute the long-term strategy of the company to strengthen its position as leading student placement service provider. This to be achieved by finding the right balance between local needs of customers and global operating model
• Contribute to building a world class operating environment by exhibiting a collaborative but decisive operating style
• Build strong working matrix relationships with country teams in Indonesia - destination, finance and marketing to deliver optimal results
• Provide mentoring, coaching, ongoing communication thereby driving for high engagement and excellent business results
• Build strong client support through ongoing engagement and client relations
• Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts

Key Requirements

• Strong leadership, problem resolution skills, listening, negotiation and presentation skills

• Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
• Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
• Minimum of seven years’ work experience in education company
• Practical experience in managing diverse stakeholders (clients and students) – with diverse interests
• Experience in working with CRM systems will be desirable
