PasarPolis has demonstrated exponential policy growth since closing of its Series A round in August 2018 participated by three Indonesian biggest unicorns - Gojek, Tokopedia and Traveloka - with the number of monthly policies issued growing more than 80 times ever since. The Company has successfully expanded across the region. To date, we are currently present in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and we have an R&D Center in India.

In August 2020, PasarPolis completed a US$54 million Series B funding round, which is considered the largest Series B funding recorded for an insurtech firm in Southeast Asia, and potentially it is also the biggest disclosed investment round for insurtech firms in the region. The round included participation from LeapFrog Investments, SBI Investment, Alpha JWC, Intudo Ventures, Go-Ventures and Xiaomi Ventures and will be used to support the company’s growth plan. In February 2021, PasarPolis secured US$5 million funding from World Bank’s sister organization International Finance Corporation (IFC).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Be the voice of the customer, by building a consumer-centric focus and by collaborating with the distribution, operations, marketing, tech product, and engineering teams
• Maintain a roadmap of tech and non-tech features, and drive delivery of the roadmap
• Build an ecosystem of external partnership and services that add value to the customer
• Act as Product Owner for assigned Insurance Products from ideation to GTM, plotting the Product strategy & roadmap, and owning the related product metrics such as revenue, loss ratio, expense ratio, and customer experience
• Establish the customer marketing and promotion framework to drive scale exponentially
• Drive revenue and profitability growth by continuously experimenting with growth ideas

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Industry sector experience in Automotive, Logistics, Consumer Finance, Travel, and Healthcare will be a plus
• Strong focus on customer experience
• Able to problem-solve, prioritize, and breakdown problems in a structured manner
• Prior experience in Insurance, Consumer Tech or Consulting
• >4 years of professional experience in insurance industry
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders across different functions
• Knowledge of data analytics tools such as SQL will be a plus
