Head Of Product (B2B Lending)

My client is a Series B eCommerce & B2B software giant in Indonesian. Over the past 4 years they've gone from strength to strength and now they're adding a new business line to their product offering which will compliment their existing portfolio: b2b lending

This role will be head of the initiative, reporting to CEO and launching from 0-1.

The successful candidate will have a blend of business and technical skills, will have previously working in Lending (specifically SME, not consumer lending) and will have previously worked on 0-1 projects in a senior position.

Responsibilities:

• Strategise, along with C suite, the entire roadmap for the new business vertical
• Hire a team of top class developers, product managers, designers etc around you to assist with the creation and launch of the product
• Manage the roadmap and authorise the end to end delivery and launch to the pre-existing client base
• Act as the subject matter expert for B2B lending, staying up to date on market movements and competitors in this space

Requirements:

• Prior team leadership experience is preferred, otherwise the role will be changed to an IC for suitable candidates
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of the Indonesian market is preferred. This role will be based in Jakarta full time
• Prior experience in B2B Lending, or else Consumer Lending (BNPL) is an absolute must - candidates without this will not be considered
• Entrepreneurial flair - passion for the startup ecosystem and prior experience of entrepreneurship is highly regarded
• Ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships with founders
• At least 8 years' experience in product launches, ideally within Indonesia
