Company Overview:

Finfra is a rapidly growing Embedded Lending as a Service company providing a one-stop shop for businesses seeking to launch lending services in Indonesia. Our cutting-edge platform integrates seamlessly with our clients' systems to streamline their lending operations. As we expand our services, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Data to lead our data team in delivering ML and AI models, implementing a BI solution, and managing all reporting requirements, while collaborating with the Risk team on credit scoring models.

Your mission:

To lead the data team in delivering ML and AI models, implementing a BI solution, and managing all reporting requirements, while collaborating with the Risk team on credit scoring models, driving data-based insights and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage partnerships with external data vendors and service providers.
• Regularly report on data team performance and progress to company leadership.
• Work closely with the product team and other stakeholders to prioritize data projects and initiatives.
• Define and implement best practices for data management, data quality, and data security.
• Lead the selection and implementation of a BI solution that improves data visibility for both our company and our partners.
• Develop and implement ML and AI models to support data-driven decision-making processes and credit scoring in collaboration with the Risk team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Risk team, to identify data-driven insights and opportunities for business growth.
• Oversee all reporting requirements, including regulatory, management, financial, and operational reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers, ensuring their professional growth and maintaining a high level of performance.

A bit about you:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• 7+ years of experience in data management and analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience implementing BI solutions and managing data visibility projects.
• Experience working in the fintech or lending industry is a plus.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing ML and AI models.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong understanding of data reporting requirements, including regulatory, management, financial, and operational reporting.
• Preferably located in Indonesia, but we are open to international candidates who can work remotely
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia being a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
