VP Finance (Financial Services)

On behalf of our client, a leading financial services company in Indonesia, we are hiring a VP Finance.

:

• Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, and capital allocation to optimize the company's financial position.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, sales, and marketing to drive informed decision-making and maximize overall business performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards, and liaise with external auditors and regulators as needed.
• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
• Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, capital structure adjustments, and financial partnerships to enhance the company's growth prospects.
• Maintain relationships with key financial stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and other financial institutions.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to provide accurate and actionable insights to the executive team.
• Implement and monitor effective financial controls and risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial and operational risks.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to the CFO and executive team, offering insights on potential risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management abilities, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Proven experience (10 years) in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning tools) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and economic trends, with the ability to anticipate and respond to market dynamics.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a strategic mindset and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong relationships with external financial stakeholders in Indonesia, including lenders and other financial institutions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting, treasury, and cash management.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are highly desirable.
