Jardine Schindler Group (JSG) is a joint venture between Jardine Matheson (est.1832) and Schindler Group(est.1874). JSG is specialized in design, engineer, install, maintain and modernize elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Macau, Myanmar, Brunei and Cambodia. On average, 100 million people throughout the Asia Pacific regions will be transported by equipment supplied and maintained by JSG on any given day.

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities
- Support the tender review and execution of contract documentation process;
- Ensure timely billing to maintain positive cash-flow for the projects;
- Implement processes to improve Service levels & Clients’ (Internal & External) satisfaction whilst still satisfying the company’s guidelines & policies.
- Leading a Commercial Team to support company business for commercial functions (including Pre and Post Contract Administration; Contractual risk management; Collections; Dispute Resolution etc..);
- Ensures compliance to internal controls & integrity of data;
- Closely monitor on the financial performance of the projects and prepare and pursue with extension of time and/or monetary claims whenever is necessary;
- Prepare progress claim and valuation of variations, negotiate with client and settle on the final account;
- Conduct internal costs reviews for large orders to ensure that the project is executed according to project time line & costs incurred are within or below plan costs, which includes reviews with Project teams;
- Reviewing commercial terms & conditions of client’s contract and support to sales team in minimizing the commercial risk for the business in-take;

- High level of professional integrity is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem solving, risk and opportunity management skills.
- Experience in Commercial Terms and Conditions review and familiar with local standard form of contracts.
- Ability to be personable and tenacious.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Legal Studies and/or relevant Engineering discipline and at least 10 years of experience with contract management, and financial analysis role, with at least 5 years in the capacity of manager and leading a team.
