The Commercial Director is accountable for delivery of the client acquisition plan, the revenue growth targets and people management in his team. The Director of Business Development is the face of the company who will actively nurture a high level of engagement with key clients and business partners to maximize the commercial potential available. This role requires proven expertise and experience in digital marketing.
As a Commercial Director will be responsible for the delivery of the client acquisition plan, the revenue growth targets, generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. Strategically plan their approach to clients and offer compelling solutions to cater to client's needs.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of HHG’s service offering, leading pitches to clients and directly and through your teams identify commercial growth opportunities.
- Leading a team to work in close alignment with the Country Manager, Regional VPs and functional leads to plan partnerships and business opportunities monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Drive business development, and establishing Local Key Client partnerships ranging from direct brands, media agencies, pharmaceuticals, consumer health, and private hospitals.
- Proactively drive revenue growth, profitability and identify opportunities for cross-selling within each client.
- Identify, develop and implement new business opportunities and HHG's products or services.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English is a mandatory (spoken and written).
- Take charge of leading and mentoring a commercial team, providing guidance on sales strategies and their implementation.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape in Indonesia.
- Strong networking skills and established connections with major advertising agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required, MBA is an asset.
- Solid leadership experience and ability to manage various stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to manage and prioritize multiple campaigns with tight deadlines
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of sales experience in online media or Ad-Tech, with a proven track record of successful prospecting and outcomes.
