Country Hr Manager, International Food Company

Our client is an international company specializing in Premium Food products, with a strong presence in both the Retail and HORECA markets. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Country HR Manager to effectively build the people and culture capability of the organization and manage a high-performing human resources function that supports the entire employee lifecycle. The company operates with a staff of approximately 100 individuals in Indonesia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the HR Manager, you will report directly to the Country GM and will be supported by a team of two administrative staff members. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Aligning and implementing HR strategies: Ensuring the adaptation and implementation of HR strategies provided by the headquarters to comply with local regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices in Indonesia.
• Learning and development: Recommending and implementing training programs for employees within the approved budget, and monitoring the effectiveness of these programs.
• Recruitment and onboarding: Overseeing the overall recruitment process, from sourcing to selection, to ensure the successful onboarding of new employees into the organization.
• Employee relations and engagement: Managing employee relations and fostering a positive work environment by handling conflict resolution, organizing events, and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
• C&B administration: Collaborating with the finance and leadership teams to administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that are in line with industry benchmarks and comply with local regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.
• Fluency in English is required.
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and Indonesia's employment laws.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Human Resources.
