Account Manager - Specialty Food Ingredients

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Description

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the specialty chemicals and ingredients market, and will be able to identify new growth opportunities. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop a deep understanding of the specialty chemicals and ingredients market
• Meeting sales target, profit margin, volumes and strategic objectives in assigned customers
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts and develop new business opportunities
• Converting sales plan into action plans
• Identify new growth opportunities and work with customers to develop innovative solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their needs
• Strong technical knowledge of the products and its features and benefits to be able to offer customed solutions to customers

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• At least 5 years of experience in sales or account management in the specialty chemicals and ingredients industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
