System Engineer (For Banking Industry)

PT. Mandiri International Technology (MITech) is currently looking System Engineer (Middle to Senior) as follow:

Responsibilities

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company;
• Deep understanding in Operating System Configuration, shell scripting;
• Having experience in application installation and configuration;
• Ability to perform under pressure and tight time constraints; be able to work under limited guidance in line with a broad plan, or strategy;
• Proactive, self-learn motivated person, and eager to learn new technologies;
• Min. 3-5 years experience at Operating System (specially Linux OS, and Windows Server) in banking industry;
• Having experience in network computing;
• Having experience with operating system virtualization;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Min. bachelor degree (S-1 degree) in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Telecommunication;
• Excellent written & verbal communication skill;
• Good verbal and written English communication skills;
• Good and effective communication and leadership skills;
