System Engineer (Kafka) Jobs

Currently we are helping a company engaged in Real-time data streaming & security solution provider in Jakarta, who is looking for a position as a System Engineer/Administration with experience in KAFKA, as well as other details such as:

Requirements:

1. 2 - 3 years professional experience as a System Administration with Kafka experience
2. Graduate from reputable higher education institution
3. Passion in coding
4. Respectful, empathetic and a team player
5. Good in written and spoken English
6. Part of a professional team that successfully deliver a streaming solution
7. Experienced in using Linux including command line
8. Experienced in using Linux system administration
9. Experienced in using Linux scripting
10. Experienced in using Cloud Servers
11. Experienced in deploying scalable and highly available Kafka Cluster locally, in cloud and in containerized cloud
12. Experienced, interpreted programming (Python,JS)
13. Experienced in Kafka components such as Connect, Stream, KSQL
14. Exposure and/or have practiced in using Java Programming
15. Comfortable with chosen OS environment and connecting with remote servers

Responsiblities:

You will be responsible for working as part of a team and working with a technically senior person to deliver a solution in projects. You are a person with good communication skills as well as empathetic and respectful towards others aside from you are a technically capable person with passion in IT Systems in general. You will be part of a team as a team member as well as a team leader. You will also mentor a junior. Your team is responsible to architect, design, document, plan, provision, configure, install, test and maintain a staging as well as a production environment. During your tenure with Cybernetik, it is required that you become certified in Kafka System Administration.
