Job Description

As a Revenue Growth Optimization Senior Associate, your main mission is providing support to the Head of Business Unit in doing financial modeling, analysis, and project management through various initiatives to grow and optimize the business from both sales and revenue perspectives. Additionally, you will be in charge of driving selected project initiatives.


Below are the responsibilities of the role:


  • Ensure achievements of the initial targets (P&L, business, scale, credibility, etc.) through means of innovative and creative problem-solving, as well as creative thinking
  • Partner with Product/Market & Partnership/Commercial Managers in developing or revamping business/operating/commercial models for external partners (e.g., commission and incentives) to improve our revenue lever
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Market & Partnership Managers, etc. to prioritize and identify levers for achieving business performance targets
  • Lead the execution of selected/prioritized strategic business and oversee business performance and profitability of multiple project initiatives
  • Support to develop/nurture team's capabilities in analysis and set up norms and system to effectively collect and document market knowledge as well as to ensure excellence in business operational process
  • Working with Head to build an in-depth understanding of Business Unit strategy and long-term vision; and its implication in Traveloka's business models
  • Provide support in discussions and negotiations with internal partners from other divisions and external partners to review arrangements and commercial contracts
  • Develop hypothesis and data-driven recommendations of areas/initiatives to push various revenue levers in medium to long terms (i.e. develop strategic thinking, beyond driving tactical initiatives)
  • Lead selected/prioritized revenue and growth initiatives, e.g. pricing optimization, partnership schemes, marketing improvements, product growth, and collaborate with the respective teams
  • Oversee the overall process of the department’s financial monitoring and analysis


Requirements


  • A quick and passionate learner to absorb new knowledge in the dynamic industry and take the learnings to the next level, bringing tangible business impacts
  • Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with proven ability to identify root causes and potential remedies for corrective or preventive actions
  • Able to prioritize and work on several projects / initiatives simultaneously
  • Financially sound, with proven ability to develop complex financial models and projection with sensitivity analysis
  • Good communication skill
  • Familiar using Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite.
  • Possess Bachelor's degree from top local or overseas universities with minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Engineering, Finance, or Business fields are preferable.
  • Possess a strong drive to make things happen and making the world better through technology
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with at least 3 years of working experience
  • Able to think creatively to come up with new solutions
