Job Description
An exciting National Sales Manager (Food Manufacturing) job has just opened up at one of the market leader companies in Indonesia.


About The National Sales Manager (Food Manufacturing) Role


Reporting to the Regional SEA Sales Manager, you will play instrumental role in formulating and executing sales strategies, maintaining strong relationships with key partners, and achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with various departments to design and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners
  • Coordinate closely with the technical and customer services teams to ensure smooth operations.Provide regular visit reports, sales forecasts, and performance reports to senior management
  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and meet sales targets
  • Monitor customer orders, deliveries, payments, and provide after-sales service
  • Monitor and adjust strategies to stay ahead of industry trends and competition
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication and support
  • Implement sales tactics to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base
  • Utilise CRM software and sales tools to track and analyse sales data
  • Provide valuable insights to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge
  • Drive market expansion by leveraging market insights and customer needs
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to anticipate risks and opportunities
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, especially with potential key accounts


To succeed in this role, you must have strong commercial acumen and committed to developing new market.


Key Requirements


  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, management practices, and market trends in the food industry
  • Excellent people management skills, capable of motivating sales, technical, and customer service teams
  • Strong sales background with a track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth in a competitive environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed domestically
  • Proven experience as a National Sales Manager or similar role, with a focus on managing key accounts.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or food science (preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to engage key accounts and stakeholders
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
