Manufacturing Assistant Manager - Betaine

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Able to control and analysist every perform the operation and equipment maintenance of betaine plant by coworkers safely, optimally, efficiently and sustainably to produce products according to specifications and targets set independently and skilled and responsible for the operational units are handled.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct operational shift activities in the unit betaine plant and verify the implementation of standard operating procedures correctly.
2. Perform confirmation in SAP production and coordination with other departments for smooth production and completeness of documentation.
3. Preparing required RM/PM for operation.
4. Perform repair maintenance of plant equipment according to standard maintenance procedures and conduct regular inspection of plant equipment including lubrication and oil replacement.
5. Evaluate the production performance and products as well as make repairs and adjust operating conditions to ensure the quantity and quality of product are met.
6. Prepare environmental impact and safety assessments as well as creating and maintaining a work environment that is clean, tidy and safe at all times.
7. Making the right decision for the operational issues to avoid accidents, damage to equipment and lost production time.
8. Proactive in implementing management systems and productivity improvement programs implemented by the company.
9. Provide information to Manufacturing Manager Betaine and co-workers in the event of an emergency or a potentially dangerous situation.
10. Performs other tasks related to the work from direct superior.
11. Participate in project activities related to the unit of work.
12. Evaluate the production target base on quality and quantity.
13. Evaluate the performance of subordinates and do appraisal.

Skills and Key Requirements

• Capable to operate Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated excellence in priority setting and execution skills.
• Safety and Quality Oriented.
• Minimum 2 years of experiences with chemical process/production process from surfactant/betaine industries/companies.
• Capable to handle the plant / betaine manufacturing.
• Have high integrity, honestly, high motivation, good self interpersonnal and can work personally or team.
• Have knowledge about employement‘s rule.
• Demonstrated high level of problem solving ability to make decisions independently.
• Leadership, Management and Organization skills.
• Required language(s) English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Able to handle multiple priorities.
• Capable to calculate the data thoroughly and accurate.
• Willing to be place in Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.
• Has good analytical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
