Description
Seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the team as the Head of Business Development. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth and expansion of the contract logistics business segment. You will lead a high-performing team, develop and implement business strategies, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present insightful business proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals that align with company objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and aligning our services to deliver value.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the contract logistics sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends, leveraging insights to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Profile
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team towards common goals.
- A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in business development within the logistics industry, with a focus on contract logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a track record of cultivating new business relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
