Job Description

:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our retail sandal business through strategic planning, business development, and relationship management. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including prospecting and lead generation.
  • Providing regular reports on sales performance and business development activities.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, including marketing, operations, and finance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities, and inform business strategies.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals and targets.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of sales or business development professionals is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong network of contacts in the retail industry may be an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the retail industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.


Other Considerations:

  • Willingness to travel domestically, as required by the position.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, social media advertising, or digital marketing may be an asset, depending on your company's sales strategy.
