Our client is a leading award-winning integrated communications advisory firm looking for a Managing Director to lead its healthcare consultancy in Jakarta, Indonesia. Your work will make a difference in global health, and you will lead a portfolio of clients across medical communications, corporate & public affairs, brand promotion, issues management, corporate reputation etc. The right candidate will possess a strong background in corporate communications and ideally have worked with leading pharmaceutical or healthcare brands and have a strong ability to lead and mentor a growing team of extremely bright consultants who are passionate about the healthcare / medical industry.

Core Responsibilities

· Lead and take ownership on client development strategy, and full P&L responsibilities

· Serve as counsel to C-Suite clients in media strategy, stakeholder engagement, crisis mitigation, and corporate affairs

· Steer the wheel on new initiatives in health communications

· B2B and B2C programming

· Lead the business development segment for existing projects and land new businesses (prospecting and client acquisition)

· Mentor and develop the team to help achieve professional and business objectives

About you:

· At least 15 + years of deep-rooted experience in PR/communications (healthcare OR corporate communications background with a keen interest to develop themselves within the healthcare space)

· Updated with ongoing trends and themes in healthcare communication practices

· Professional work ethic, award-winning mindset, and leadership skills

· Mature, driven and can mentor the team to success.

· Outstanding interpersonal communication and negotiation skills

· Entrepreneurial drive, resilience, and the ability to meet goals in a fast-paced environment

· Extensive knowledge of the Hong Kong market and media landscape, locally and regionally.
