Locations: Jakarta, Indonesia | Reports to: Sales Director | Team size: 3 | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Indonesia | Language Requirements: Professional English and Bahasa, written and spoken


As our new Key Account Manager (KAM), your role objective is to plan, build and nurture strategic relationships with top accounts to identify and qualify opportunities for revenue growth and services for the client and Crayon. You will have the overall responsibility of developing customers through collaboration with LSS, Software Advisors and Solution Advisors. You will lead the customer’s journey from end-to-end. Key Account Managers are expected to possess an in-depth knowledge of Crayon, the go-to-market strategy and potential/existing customers.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Up-sell, cross-sell, additional sales for Crayon's services and offerings, supporting existing customers
  • Monitor customer preferences to have the right strategic conversations in the interface between business and IT, able to discuss with all levels of BDM/stakeholders (e.g., Technical, Commercial, CXO level)
  • Commit to regular business updates/forecast to management regarding gross profit and overall business performance
  • Recruit new customers, identifying, qualifying leads and guiding them through their journey
  • Managing and reporting on a pipeline of opportunities to cover quarterly target, ensuring accurate reporting in CRM


Your Competencies:

  • Customer development experience: Regular customer meetings to understand customer needs and build service-based solutions to fulfil customer needs and create value
  • 5+ years similar industry experience
  • Good knowledge or experience in licensing (market leading software and cloud vendors) and/or cloud optimizations / transformation projects
  • Previous sales track record and a good existing network supported with excellent networking skills will be beneficial


About You:

  • Ambitious and goal oriented; desire for achievement or distinction to reach goals. Includes having the drive and aspiration to become/stay a subject matter expert
  • Analytical: Skilled to analyse reports with different complexity, different sources. Includes calculation, comparison, estimation, computation, merging and conclusion
  • Able to translate complex technical information into content understandable in business terms (e.g., corporate executives, business partners, regulators, etc.)
