Head Of Hr (Manufacturing)

You will be joining a Global Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) solutions provider who is well-known for cabling, PCB assemblies, box build & system integrations.

Due to ambitious expansion plans in the region, they are looking for a qualified Head of HR to oversee HR activities and manage the team.

Location: Batam

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other employees when new, complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
• Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department.
• Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.
• Manage payroll, compensation, and benefits for employees.
• Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's HR and talent strategy relating to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Conduct constructive and timely performance evaluations, performance management and provide feedback for the employee's growth.
• May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law
• Maintain compliance with Indonesia’s employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Initiate, drive and facilitate the best fit Employee Care Programs, Job Professionalism Developments, and Career Pathing to create opportunities for talents.
• Work on designated global projects as one of team members.

Requirements:

• Min. 7 - 10 years' experience in Human Resources and familiar with Indonesia's HR standards, with min. 3 years of team management background.
• Attention to detail with strong problem solving & decision-making capabilities.
• Strong HR foundations on recruiting, payroll/benefits, training & development, employee cares & compliance management. Experience in Payroll and L&D is a must.
• Positive mindset and Can-Do Attitude
• High agility to work under ambiguity to initiate continuous improvement.
• Experience within the Manufacturing industry is a must, ideally with blue collar management background.
• Regional experience is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal skill as a business partner to gain long term trust.

Base Salary up to $77k IDR monthly and 3 months bonus based on experience.
