JOB PURPOSE

• Understand and meet customer needs through development and implementation of Indonesia and Malaysia business strategies including marketing, portfolio development, commercial excellence route to market, digital transformation, and people development. Optimize profit achieved both in the short and long-term; contributing to the development of the CS SEAP strategy, ensuring execution and above market growth.
• Participate as member of Indonesia and Malaysia Country Leadership Teams and SEAP Crop Science Leadership team.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Ensure compliant, safe operations and risk management practices, while ensuring achievement of economic (budget, expenditure) & social goals for BCS Indonesia & Malaysia
• Manage distribution network according to a commercial policy that drives CS growth above market including pricing and channel inventories
• Responsible for achieving economic and social goals for CS in the country, by the right management of the totality of financial resources and the development of the human aspects.
• To prepare and implement specific crop and product marketing strategies that optimizes product profitability for current and future CS portfolio and expands our market share in the relevant markets by regularly identifying and assessing relevant of market developments, opportunities, and threats.
• Validate strategies, policies & organizations to achieve set objectives in commercial & marketing, product development & public & regulatory affairs, production & supply chain, costs, and expenditures, investments & supervise them throughout CS in the country.
• Defend and promote the image of the company, create a key people network for lobbying and represent & defend health, safety, and environmental matters, according to the law and company policies and Guidelines
• Build a high performing organization through effective internal communication, identification & development of local talent & appropriate human resources management

Who You Are

• Global working experience with various HQ and country positions
• External networking and benchmarking of best practice
• Language skills: English fluently (must), language in host country (highly preferred).
• High level of seniority (at least 10 years of leadership experience)
• University degree, Economics or Agricultural Sciences.
• Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, business acumen, stakeholder management skills, practical judgment, initiative, endurance, social awareness, managing ambiguity and driving vision & purpose.
