Commercial Manager - Contract Logistics

About the Company:

Our client is a prominent 3PL company in Indonesia with a diverse portfolio and a strong foothold in the contract logistics space. With a strong pipeline and multiple projects dotted across, they continue to capture greater market share.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage sourcing of customers. Build and maintain relationships with customers and assist and direct team members in sourcing and growing customer base
• Develop and manage operating budgets
• Monthly financial analysis: including determining overall success of current customer profiles
• Forwarding and in-depth knowledge of the contract logistics business and market
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Set sales team profit goals and hold team members accountable for goals and recognize or discipline as needed

Key Requirements:

• 5-7 years of business development and/or sales experience with a core focus in the contract logistics space
• The ability to design and lead, leveraging on your knowledge of the shipping and logistics market
• Proven success in the forwarding and contract logistics space would be highly desirable
• A proven track record of customer and market development with experience across the various forwarding and logistics stages
• Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
