Specification Manager - Waterproofing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Specifications Manager (SM) to join our team in Jakarta. The successful candidate will have a strong work history in construction materials and will be responsible for introducing our waterproofing technology and products to consultants and designers, persuading them to incorporate our technology in their projects.

Responsibilities:

·Develop and maintain relationships with project consultants, designers, architects, engineers, and specifiers, creating awareness of the technical breakthrough of our waterproofing technology.

·Get the products specified in projects and then maintain regular subsequent contact, to defend the specification against being overturned by competition. If the specification has been set previously with competitive products, the SM will work to get our products accepted as alternatives.

·Provide technical expertise and support to the above, during design stage.

·Conduct product presentations to project owners, specifiers and contractors, as well as site visits, to assess and evaluate the project, and meet with all project key players.

·Use internal tools to successfully monitor the progress of projects and provide regular reports, maintaining records of all specifications achieved.

Requirements:

·Minimum 5 years of experience in Specifications Management, with very good connections among architects, designers and specifiers in Indonesia.

·Self-starter, with the ability to a) operate under minimal supervision and b) manage multiple projects, prioritizing workload.

·Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·Excellent command of English and proficiency of MS Office is indispensable.

·Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, internal teams, and external partners.

·Knowledge of waterproofing products will be considered a strong advantage for final selection but is not necessary for entry.
