Dive Manager Jobs

The Role

This position is responsible for developing, overseeing, and enforcing the safe, healthful, and efficient operation of the dive program at the Toba farming where you will manage the team consists of 40 - 50 divers of which 5 of them are supervisor levels who reporting directly to you.

Responsibilities

• Manage all major asset purchases for diving department (CAPEX).
• Continually review diving system performance and utilization and to recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Establishes, monitors, and enforces minimum operating and training standards.
• Responsible for the maintenance, upkeeping and certification of all diving equipment and tools.
• Work with procurement for timely ordering of spares and materials required for maintenance of the equipment.
• Work with QHSE and Operations to develop training and staff development initiatives.
• Implements Company Safety Standards and Quality Management procedures throughout the global diving technical support structure.
• Manage the development of project specific diving procedures and plans.
• Responsible for the recruitment of divers and other dive team key members and ensures that the business line has adequate resources and equipment to meet its objectives and targets.
• Preparing and submitting detailed equipment requisition lists for mobilization and ensuring equipment is mobilized on time in accordance with company procedures.
• Review personnel performance and provide training to them as and when required to ensure that they are competent to do their job.
• Manage and execute all diving operations (planned and un-planned call out’s), assign, and manage dive, back up and shore teams.
• Manage, review and allocate budgets for maintenance and refurbishment of diving systems (OPEX).
• Collaborate with internal users to facilitate client’s requirements for diving operations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, Service oriented, possess "CAN DO" attitude, and good communication.
• High initiative with the ability to do multi-tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to speak Bahasa Batak would be a plus.
• Excellent computer literacy enough to operate Excel spreadsheet, MS Word, PowerPoint presentations, & Outlook
• Possess diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field, certified Instructor Diver is a MUST!
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in similar responsibility.
• Good command of English, both verbal and writing would be an advantage.
