Introduction

One of our clients is seeking to expand one of the world’s premier nickel mines, located in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, through the processing of Limonite ore to produce 60,000tpa of nickel. Worley has been engaged to support development of the mine feasibility study and Worley is in discussions for additional packages of work. Worley is seeking to bolster its Indonesian team with additional key engineering discipline and designer roles.

As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver the excellent work as focus in your career journey with Worley

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs, using the Worley framework.
• Ensure construction work conforms to applicable specifications, codes, and standards.
• Ensure they understand and apply the Worley quality management system.
• Promote interdisciplinary communications on projects.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess a combination of work experience, skills and or qualifications in the following areas:

• Aid and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in insturmentation engineering
• Prior experience in mining industry and/or resources industry is advantageous
• Understand and apply the Quality Management System
• Assist with and if required prepare project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules
• Conduct or contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions
