Smelter Operation Readiness - Chief Accountant Financial Audit And Budgeting

• Coordinate and involve in the preparation of PTFI Smelter and PMRs Budgeting and Forecasting activities for capital, administrative, operation expenditures to ensure the compliance with PTFI policy, the accuracy and timely manner to support the management's decision-making.
• Coordinate and review overall PTFI Smelter and PMR Budgeting and Forecasting from initial preparation (from user), uploaded into the system and report to Management.
• Coordinate and support Internal Audit (Deloitte), External Audit (EY), FCPA audit, Cash Call Audit and Government of Indonesia Audits (Taxes, Customs, Non-Tax Revenue and Financials).

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Coordinate and review the preparation of monthly cost reports review activities and cost variance analysis to the budget/forecast.
• Review and direct the preparation and review of Financial Statements/Information for PTFI Smelter and PMR for GOI reporting.
• Coordinate and review audited Financial Statements for PMR submitted to external auditor and corporate office for review and endorsement.
• Coordinate and review PTFI Smelter and PMRs Budgeting and Forecasting activities for capital/administrative/operation expenditures to ensure the compliance with PTFI policy, the accuracy and timely manner to support the management's decision-making in the area of capital expenditures.
• Coordinate all PTFI Smelter and PMR financial audit activities performed by Internal Auditor (Deloitte), External Auditor (Ernst & Young), MIND ID Auditor (PWC) and Government Auditors (Custom, BPK, Minister of Finance and etc) including to ensure all government, external and internal audit requirements are fulfilled, and coordinate audit responses to comply with required procedures and policies in order to obtain unqualified audit opinion.
• Coordinate and involve in review all financial aspects of PTFI Smelter and PMR external and internal reporting.
• Coordinate and review reports to disclose expenditures in each capital project against its budget and forecast from high level summary to detail level that reconciled to trial balances for management's review on the progress of capital projects site wide.

The key challenges in this position include:

• Analyze the complex data, in order to get reliable data for making planning and evaluation to better decision-making for best interests of Management.
• The incumbent should be able to instill the departments vision and mission into each staff in the section.
• Strong understanding of accounting and reporting standards such as US GAAP, Indo GAAP, IAS and IFRS.
• The incumbent should be able to select/place the right people in each position within his area in order to maximize the value of its section.
• Describing the cost variance in detailed transaction and summarize in readable, reliable and clear report for management's review.
• Strong understanding of FCPA and government and tax regulations related to company's business.
• Providing report that should be readily available while still keeping accuracy standard to fulfill government and other users' requirements by making good coordination with subordinates and other parties.
• The incumbent should be able to prevent any kind of issues incurred within his/her area that will negatively impact the company's business.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education & Experience

S-1(bachelor) majoring in accounting, has deep knowledge in internal control function and related regulation with Company's business such as FCPA, government and tax regulation.

and has minimum 5 up-to 7 years experiences in finance and accounting of a multinational company or in a managerial position as an internal auditor with a proven managerial skills and work experience in the international public accounting firm.
