Job Description
The purpose of this position is :


Under general supervision, oversee system support, testing & training on the systems and reporting tools used by Supply Chain team in Manyar (i.e. SAP, MaRIO, MDG Materials, CAS, Ariba, ORAS and SAP integration with outsourced 3PL warehouse provider). Manage and participate in system projects and process improvement projects, and manage reporting, data enrichment and analysis activities. Maintain Supply Chain policies, SOPs and training materials relating to inventory control, warehousing, and outsourcing (contracting).


The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:


  • Train Supply Chain personnel and key field users from maintenance and operations on the systems used at site, including SAP, MaRIO, MDG Materials, CAS, Ariba, & ORAS to ensure their maximum utilization.
  • Provides analytical support for Supply Chain team in Manyar, including collaboration with business subject matter experts.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are available on the company website for all customers to access quickly and efficiently.
  • Participates in Global Supply Chain (GSC) Business Process team initiatives and new system roll outs including UAT relevant to PTFI Manyar.
  • Act as lead in setting up and maintaining the systems and reporting tools used by the Supply Chain team in PTFI Manyar in coordination with MIS and Business process teams in Papua and Phoenix.
  • Coordinate and facilitate audits with internal and external auditors relating to supply chain policies, procedures and systems.
  • Represent Supply Chain team on Safety and Environmental initiatives in support of a safe and environmentally sound work atmosphere.
  • Maintains issues log to report Supply Chain systems faults, defects and enhancements and reports them to the appropriate support teams to ensure accurate and timely manner of correction.
  • Manage the Risk Register and Copper Mark initiatives for the Manyar supply chain team.
  • Maintain metrics dashboard for Supply Chain team that are relevant to Manyar and ensures it is kept up to date.
  • Supervise and centrally create and maintain external and internal policies relating to inventory control, services outsourcing and warehousing with associated procedures and training materials for easy employee access to ensure standardized operations in support of safe production targets.


The key challenges in this position include:


  • Maintaining tight system integration between PTFI Manyars SAP system and the Warehouse 3PL warehouse management system to ensure high transaction compliance and high inventory accuracy between the two systems.
  • Ensuring teams are properly trained and consistently using the systems and tools to properly execute supply chain functions in the field.
  • Ability to influence GSC Business Process team & MIS to include major systems requirements for Manyar into global common design of these platforms


The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:


Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS/IT), Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and six (6) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required, OR


Master's degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS/IT), Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and four (4) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required


Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)


  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Excellent technical communications and training skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • High level of ethics and personal integrity. A team player.
  • Working knowledge in operating procedure development.
  • Strong system implementation project and UAT experience
  • Strong knowledge of EllipseSAP, Business Objects Microsoft Office Applications and specialized reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent
  • High level of leadership skill with ability to create own measures of excellence.


Preferred Qualifications


Education and Experience:


Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Math or Computer Science considered related discipline for this position


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


Experience with Risk Register and/or Copper Mark type management tools
